How about a pub lunch? There are 100 country pubs to choose from in this new guide, and there is something special about every one of them. There are pubs with so wide a choice of drinks that you won't know where to to start, there are others with mouth-watering menus, others so cosy that you won't want to leave, and some with play areas so exciting that your children won't want to leave! All you need to do is get there, and what better way to work up an appetite than to walk? There are gentle walks, strenuous climbs, walks with spectacular panoramic views, and others with interesting places to explore on the way. Most of the walks are circular routes, and all of them have a welcoming pub as the halfway point - so you can eat a hearty meal happy in the knowledge that by the time you return to your car, you will have walked it off!
